The story
Brief to handover.
The idea
A bakery is about the counter, so the counter sits in the middle of the room: a rounded, rose-pink island that customers can walk all the way around. Everything else lines the walls.
The details
Brass rods drop from the ceiling to hold the upper displays, back-lit shelving runs along both walls, and deep green cabinets frame the chilled counters. A new facade and entrance give the store a clear front on the street.
